How to Be Successful With Lifestyle Changes; 75 Hard Challenge Update
We all want success, but fear of failure comes first.
Often times we hide behind the excuses of “not enough time,” “I don’t really want it,” “one day,” etc. because deep down we are scared of trying and failing. That would hurt so bad.
But, what if I was to tell you there is such a simple formula to follow for your guaranteed success? It is the same process I teach my clients. Nothing more, nothing less.
75 Hard Challenge has a reputation to be mentally tough and physically strenuous.
Unless I am doing something wrong, I have hacked the system and this is not “hard,” nor “challenging.”
This is how I am successful with the 75 Hard Challenge:
Plan out my goals: I have a set of rules to follow that support the challenge guidelines. I have it laid out what exercises to complete on which day, intentions behind my goals, how I am going to complete my water intake, when\where\what I am going to read, meal menu and prep, etc.
I then add my plan to my schedule. I have a detailed 15-minute day-planner where I plug in all my habits I need to take care of. This way if I am aware of a schedule change, I can adjust my exercise routine or have dinner taken care of ahead of time. Having a plan ahead of time, allows for full day-to-day success.
Accountability and wanting to fulfill my goal of completing this challenge. I am choosing each morning, at each exercise, and every task to complete, ME. I am showing up for me 100% because I matter just as much as everyone around me. And with feeling successful from my accomplishments and the physical\mental wellness I am enduring, I can show up for everyone else as my best self.
I am choosing difficulties, challenges, and being uncomfortable. This is where growth and success lies. It sucks having to workout outside for 45-minutes when it is less than 50 degrees out, but I have come to accept things I cannot change. It is making me stronger. You think I don’t miss pizza Fridays?? But, I am choosing to make sacrifices so I can prove I can do hard things.
If you are looking for a way to change your lifestyle and use this technique, I created The 90 Day Sustainable Routine Change Challenge, where it walks you through the whole process of planning a goal, fixing habits, and scheduling your time for them.
