Cheesecloth Ghost
This craft was super easy to pull off! All you need is a frame of your choice, cheesecloth, black felt, and Mod-Podge.
In a bowl with water, pour some Mod Podge into it and mix around. Cut the cheesecloth and soak it in the mixture. Then shape the wet cheesecloth on your frame into a ghost.
Create a little arm to tie around flowers of your choice. Hot glue the edges of the cheesecloth along with felt ghost eyes and mouth!
Let dry and enjoy!
2. Painted Doormat
Snag this $7 doormat to decorate! Decorating a plain doormat for the holidays has quickly become one of my favorite crafts to create! Use acrylic paint and be sure to seal it with Flex Seal.
3. Shiplap Wood Decor
This wood plank piece is on sale right now at Hobby Lobby for only $2! Use acrylic paint.
4. DryDex Ghosts
This one is a real trust the process! Start somewhere relatively in the middle of your canvas in order to layer your ghosts. Don’t scoop too much DryDex on as it will be more difficult to spread. Use a putty knife, or cut out a rounded piece of cardboard to use.
You can use your finger to help shape your ghosts as you go.
Once your finished laying all the ghosts down, let it dry for an hour or so. Then come back to it with a little bit of water on your finger, and shape the edges or center again.
5. AirDry Clay Tic-Tac-Toe Board
Another simple craft that is super fun in the end! Just use AirDry Clay to make a tic-tac-toe board any ghost shape you want. Using a little water on your finger to smooth it out helps a lot!
When your ghost is dry, paint it, and seal it with Mod-Podge!
6. AirDry Dollar Store Pumpkin Ghosts
I found these ceramic pumpkins at the dollar store and simply dressed them up with some AirDry Clay ghosts sheets!
Here are other options for purchasing the pumpkins:
7. Upscale an Old Thrift Store Picture
This one could not be simpler! Find an old picture at the thrift store, or one on sale to add your own little Halloween touch!
8. Fabric Ghosts
If you’re not a fan of the classic white-sheet ghost, snag a fabric square and mix it up! Under these ghosts are styrofoam ball and cone hot glued together.
9. Ghost Yarn
Grab some yarn and an old book or journal to create this ghost yarn garland! Wrap the yarn around the book about 20 times, tie a knot around one end and cut through the other. At about half an inch from the tied area, tie a knot around to create a head-like shape! Cut out felt eyes and mouths to hot glue to your ghost head. When you’re done making the ghosts, string through the heads to hang.
10. Halloween Garland
Wrap the yarn around a toilet paper roll about 20 times, tie a knot around one end and cut through the other. A little from the top, tie a knot around to create a head-like shape!
For the pumpkin, wrap around your three fingers 20-30 times. As you tie a knot on one side, slip a green pipe cleaner through before pulling tight. Trim and curl the pipe-cleaner the way you want it.
The spider will be done the same way as the pumpkin, just slip 4 black pipe cleaners through prior to pulling tight. Bend them to look like spider legs.
11. “BOO” Pots
Spice up your “BOOing” this Halloween season with these cute pots. Paint a pot any spooky creature (Bat, Frankenstein, Scarecrow, Jack-0-lantern, Ghost, Zombie etc.) Spray with a sealant to turn into a flower-safe pot!
Fill your pot with some Halloween goodies: candy, spider-rings, necklace. When you’re done tag it using this link.
Be sure to be sneaky when you leave it on someone’s porch!👻
12. Four Ways to Use the Dollar Tree Skull
Before putting your skull to use, dress it up with some paint! Don’t forget to use a clear gloss to seal it.
13. Cheesecloth Webs
Stop using Spider-webs from the store, use cheesecloth instead! It’s less of a pain and hangs way better!
14. Cauldron
Grab a small or large cauldron with a styrofoam ball that fits inside taking up as much space as possible! To help fill it add some grocery bags or paper to help the styrofoam ball to be propped up, so when you start adding your ornaments it keeps that round shape.
Depending on the color of your styrofoam, you may need to hard a sheet of paper over so the ornaments reflect white.
Take the hooks out of the ornaments and start hot gluing various sizing around your cauldron! When you are done, add some fairy lights to make your cauldron glow.

19. Terracotta Jack-O-Lantern Pot
Use 3-4 plastic Jack-O-Lantern trick-or-treating buckets. First, do two coats of white primer. After that dries, do one coat of Terra-cotta acrylic paint. Mix white and the Terra-cotta paint. Heavily brush it on in sections, mixing strokes of just Terra-cotta color. While still wet sprinkle Baking Soda on the wet spots. Continue this process.
When it is all done, spray with a sealant. Put rocks in the bottom bucket to make it more stable. Use E6000 glue to secure the Jack-O-Lanterns together. Use as a flower pot or just porch decoration!
20. Spooky Castle

22. Airdry Clay Ghost Feet
BONUS: Give a gift of a Mummy-wrap wine bottle or a Mummy-osa kit!
Combine water and flour to make a paper mache mix to dip your strips of paper into. If you need to speed the process up, use a blow dryer on low heat to dry the paper mache. Glue the gauze in a mummy-like fashion around the bottle. Add some googly-eyes peeking out. Now your gift is ready to go!
