Gluten-Free Apple Pie

I was so intimidated by the thought of baking a pie until I tried making an Apple one. Couldn't be easier, or yummier! Definitely going to be a staple this Fall season.

Enjoy!❤️

Pie Filling:

  • One pie crust (Wholly gluten free crust)

  • 2-4 Granny Smith apples depending on size

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (Wholesome Brand)

  • 1/2 cup sugar (Wholesome Brand)

  • 1 tbsp all-purpose flour (Pamelas’s)

  • 1/2 Heavy cream (Silk Brand or other GF)

  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract

  • 1/2 tbsp Cinnamon (Mortan and Bassett)

Crumble:

  • 7 tbsp butter (Earth Balance)

  • 3/4 all-purpose flour (Pamela’s)

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (Wholesome Brand)

  • Dash salt

  1. Preheat oven to 375

  2. In your pie filling, add your peeled and sliced apples that are coated in: heavy cream, brown sugar, regular sugar, flour, vanilla, and cinnamon.

  3. Combine your crumble ingredients (butter, flour, brown sugar, salt) until everything comes together like clumps or crumbles.

  4. Place the crumble over the top of your pie filling.

  5. Cover with foil for 40 minutes. Continue baking for twenty more minutes, or until golden brown.

  6. Slice up and add some ice cream 😋
