Fun Summer Activities for Kids (And the Whole Family!)
Before summer ends, be sure to add these activities your bucket list. Even the littlest of ones can enjoy them!
1.Tie-Dye
Here is all the supplies you will need:
This activity could not be any simpler!
Fill the tie-dye bottles with water and give them a good shake. Prep your shirt by swirling it form the middle, accordion-fold from the bottom, or use rubber bands to create any cool design!
Once the rubber bands are in place, you have your gloves on (just in case) get to tie-dying! Try not to add too many colors to one spot as it may turn brown or a darker color. Do your best to separate the colors you pick!
When you think it is soaked enough, put the t-shirt inside its own ziplock bag. Let it sit for a minimum of 2 days (you can go up to a week) as the longer the ink soaks the longer the shirt will last.
After a few days of sitting, rinse the shirt the best you can to let all the extra color drip out. I hand wash it when I feel that process is done with detergent as to not dye any of my other clothes!
