Mindset Training Tips

This chart shows that mindset is in control of your feelings, actions, and results in life.

However, what happens if your mindset is so blocked, clouded, and negative, you can’t access your true emotions, it stops you from doing anything, and you can’t get in control of life?

You have to hack it.

You start with your actions, and then let the streamline flow through you.

In order to take action, you need to create a detailed step by step plan outlining how to accomplish your goal. Make small non-negotiable daily changes that are either creating or breaking habits.

You need to write it out in full length everything your goal is, who you want to be, what you do, values, beliefs, feelings, and daily accomplishments. This will give you an idea of how you are currently aligned in some areas with where you want to be, and where to change others.

The more actions you take, habits you correct, and results you see will automatically motivate you, create more energy, and begin to shift your mindset.

Begin to shift mindset towards growth rather than fixed every opportunity you get. You need to take life slowly in order to live presently and aware situation to situation so you can choose growth. When you choose a growth perspective and shift your mindset towards positive, you will be opening it up, clearing it out, and gaining power.

Your thoughts will be paired with your positive or negative mindset. Your thoughts interpret your life. Your thoughts will define how you feel towards life and essentially dictate if you take action (starting that streamline.)

You need to get inside your head to truly know what your thoughts are. Many times they hide in the nooks and crannies without realization they are in control. Journaling, writing, or brain dumping is a great technique to truly know what thoughts your mind holds.

Emotions are physical reactions to your thought interpretation. That is why it is so important to know what your thoughts are in order to regulate or recognize the true emotions you are experiencing-not just guessing or assuming you know what it is. Sometimes emotions are attached to the wrong interpretation.

Having awareness, journaling, talking, or finding connection will help with proper emotion control.

Your reaction to emotions and thought interpretation are what dictate feelings. Feelings are you defining situations based on what emotions come out and the thoughts behind that emotion. Depending on what your mindset is, this will create positive or negative thought interpretations and influences whether you run towards actions or not.

Take aways:

  1. Make a detailed plan in order to take actions

  2. Start with daily changes to habits you feel are sustainable and important for your goals

  3. Journal to recognize all the growth, changes, and progress you make

  4. Check-in with your mind, body, and spirit to make sure you are staying aligned, and incorporating non-negotiables daily that support them

  5. Be present and aware in order to choose mindset shifts, changes, growth, and recognize progress

  6. Draw boundaries, put yourself first, and be proud you are making changes
